IIM Ranchi Admission Criteria

IIM Ranchi has announced the admission criteria for Post Graduate Diploma in Management for the year 2018-2020. Admission to IIM Ranchi would be based on the performance of the candidates in the Written Ability Test and Personal Interview apart from Common Admission Test.

In comparison to the previous year, CAT Cutoff has been lowered for all categories except General category. The Academic and Work Profile of the candidate inclusive of academic gender diversity would be taken into count at the time of finalizing the admission procedure. 

The WAT and PI Process for the final selection would be followed for other IIMs such as Bodhgaya, Amritsar, Udaipur and Trichy to mention a few. The cutoff CAT Percentiles, weights of different components and the profile scoring method is described. 

Shortlisting for WAT/PI

An initial shortlist of candidates would be prepared who would be eligible for Written Ability Test and Personal Interview for admission to the PGDM Batch of 2018-2020. This would be completely based on CAT Performance and would be announced in January 2018.

CAT Cutoff Percentile Scores are mentioned as below:

The above cut-off percentiles are merely indicative and the actual CAT Percentile cutoffs are expected to be close to that of previous years. The shortlisted candidates of all 10 IIMs would be merged to make a combined shortlist for further processing procedures. 

WAT and PI Process would be conducted in - Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi.
