IBPS PO Prelims Result expected to be declared soon

IBPS PO Prelims was held on the following dates: 7,8,14 and 15 October 2017. The main examination is scheduled on 26 November 2017, the prelims result is expected to be on or before October 31, 2017. As per the IBPS Official notification, the online preliminary examination result is slated to be declared within this month.
Candidates who qualify Prelims and are slated to appear for Mains should start preparing for the same with equal intensity. After the IBPS PO Result for the Preliminary Examination is declared, admit cards/call letters for IBPS Mains Examination shall be released. The Result for the Main Examination which would be held in the last week of November would be released in the month of December for the year 2017.Provisional allotment would be done in the month of April for the year 2018.
The IBPS PO Mains Examination would be comprising of Letter and Essay Writing apart from sections like Reasoning, Computer Aptitude, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, Data Analysis and Interpretation for a total duration of 3.5 hours attempting 157 questions.
The Marks that are obtained in IBPS PO Examination would be considered for shortlisting candidates. Candidates would have to carry the IBPS PO Call Letter and Photo ID Proof to the examination hall. The steps to IBPS PO Prelims Result is as follows:
- The official website of IBPS needs to be visited.
- The link for IBPS PO Prelims Result would have to be selected by the candidate.
- The candidate would be directed to the login page.
- The registration number and password can be entered by the candidate to log in and access his result.
- The captcha code can be entered to check the result, the printout of which can be taken to be stored for future reference.
The online IBPS PO Main examination would be held on November 26, 2017. The interview for the same would be held in the month of January/February 2018 while the provisional allotment to the selected candidates would be taking place by April 2018.
About 3500+ vacancies in various public sector banks and other participating banks through this procedure can be done. Aout 1700 vacancies are reserved for those in unreserved, 960 for OBC, 580 for Scheduled Caste and about 285 for Scheduled Tribe category. Candidates should refer to the IBPS PO Prelims official website on a regular basis to keep themselves informed of the latest developments that related in particular to the examination. All the dates that are given are tentative.
Once the result for IBPS PO Prelims is declared, the candidates can determine their chances of clearing of the IBPS Mains Examination.
