How To Raise An Objection If You Are Not Satisfied with CAT 2019 Answer Key?

The answer keys of CAT 2019 for Slot 1 and Slot 2 along with students’ response sheet have been released by the Indian Institutes of Management last week. Students who took CAT Exam on 24th November 2019 can now check their response sheet and compare it with the answer keys released by IIMs. The response sheet and answer key can be checked and downloaded from the official website of CAT i.e. iimcat.ac.in. They are required to follow the instructions in order to download their respective response sheets.

CAT 2019 Result is expected to release in the first week of January 2020

The official website of CAT contains a single PDF which consists of all the questions asked in CAT 2019 Exam along with student’s response and correct answers to them.

How to Raise Objection to CAT 2019 Answer Keys?

Students who have already gone through their response sheet along with answer keys released by IIMs and are not satisfied with them can raise their issue by challenging any answer. It requires submission of an objection form. The objection form costs INR 1200, and this must be filled on the official website of CAT.

Waiting for CAT Results might not help if you are not satisfied with the answer key released.

If the objections raised by students are valid, the measures taken as remedy would be applied for all the candidates. It must also be noted by students that the objection forms would be available for a limited period. The experts at CAT centers would review the objections received from the end of students and if there is no change found the issues raised by students will not be entertained.

  • Candidates can raise objection against CAT 2019 Answer Key by following the below mentioned steps:
  • Candidates must log in for their answer key by entering their CAT Registration ID and Password.
  • Click on “Objection Form” tab available online.
  • Candidates must use ‘+’ sign to raise an objection.
  • The other details such as Section name, question, and type of question must be selected by candidates from the dropdown menu.
  • One of the options that students can choose from are-
    • None of the options are correct
    • More than one option is correct
    • The answer key is not correct
  • You can also add remarks to support your objection
  • You can raise as many objections as you want
