How to Download JEE Main 2020 Result?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) which is the conducting body of JEE Main Examination has released JEE Main 2020 Result on its official website. The result was declared on 17th January 2020 i.e. yesterday. Candidates who appeared in JEE Main 2020 Exam and were awaiting their JEE Main Result 2020 can now check their result by visiting official website and entering their login credentials. Media reports that a total of 9 students who appeared in the exam have managed to score 100 percentile in the exam and hence became the toppers of the exam.

As per the report, NTA has declared the result for Paper 1 only i.e. B. Tech exam and JEE Main 2020 Result for Paper 2 and Paper 3 i.e. B. Arch and B. Planning respectively is yet to be declared.

Since the result of JEE Main 2020 (Paper 1) has been announced through online mode and is made available on the official website of JEE Main, students would be advised to check their result at the official website and download their scorecard by logging themselves in using their login credentials.

JEE Main Exam 2020 was conducted from 6th January 2020 to 9th January 2020 and lakhs of students appeared in the exam. It been only 8 days since the exam was concluded and NTA has even managed to declare the result in record time.

How to Download JEE Main Result 2020?

NTA has declared the result of JEE Main 2020 Exam on its official website i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can follow the below given procedure stepwise in order to check their result. This would also help them understand how they can download their scorecard.

  • Visit the official website of JEE Main i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • Navigate to the link “View/Download Scorecard”.
  • Candidates would be redirected to a new page where they can provi9de their login credentials.
  • Enter your application number and date of birth using the dropdown option.
  • Enter the security pinprovided on the displayed page.
  • Click on “Submit” tab and the webpage displays your JEE Main 2020 Scorecard.
  • Download your scorecard by clicking on download.

Note* Candidates would be advised to take 2-3 printouts of their scorecard as they would be asked to submit their scorecard.

Note* The application number entered by candidates is the same sent to them on their email id at the time of registration.

Candidates must note that the result declared by NTA has been released in terms of percentile which relatively shows the performance of candidate compared to the other candidates who appeared in the examination.
