GATE 2018: Score Card Released

GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2018 Score Card has been released by IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Guwahati for the academic session 2018. Candidates can now download their respective Score Card from the official website of Gate i.e. gate.iitg.ac.in and click on the link available there or candidates can directly visit the Gate 2018 Score Card page i.e. appsgate.aatg.ac.in. The Candidate is required to fill their details which includes Enrollment ID or Registered Email Address along with the password and then submit the form. The Score Card will appear on the screen. The Last Date for downloading the GATE 2018 Score Card is May 31, 2018.

 

GATE Scorecard 2018?

 

GATE 2018 results were declared on March 16, 2018. GATE 2018 Scores will be applicable for next three years and are mandatory for admissions to Post Graduate Programs in Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Doctorate in various disciplines of Science offered by Institutes supported by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and other Government agencies. 

GATE Toppers 2018:

Prashant Gupta has secured the All India Rank one in Chemistry this year. He secured 71.67% marks. The 24-year-old Graduate from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), says that his aim was to score AIR 10, but he never expected that he will top in Chemistry.  

Jyotiranjan Barik, the Fourth-year student of agricultural engineering at Orrisa University of Agriculture and Technology, topped the GATE 2018 Entrance Examination. He secured 959 marks out of 1000. The 23-year-old Engineering students said that this was his first attempt and he never expected that he will top the exam.

Namita Kalra, the girl from Roorkee is one of the few girls who has topped GATE Examination in Computer Science Engineering this year. Namita completed her Graduation from NIT Uttarakhand and has secured 83.3% in GATE 2018.

Other GATE 2018 Toppers who have secured AIR 1, are Amit Kumar in Mechanical Engineering, Ocima Kamboj in Production & Industrial Engineering, Naman Jaswani in Instrumentation Engineering and Prashant Varshney in Chemical Engineering

GATE is an Entrance Examination conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IIS) and 7 IITs i.e. Indian Institute of Technologies at Roorkee, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Chennai, and Mumbai. GATE score reflects the Relative Performance Level of the Candidate. GATE is one of the most competitive Examinations in India and is also accepted by numerous Foreign Universities like Nanyang Technical University in Singapore.
