Candidate Responses have been released on the GOAPS Portal for students who had appeared in the GATE 2018 Examination. The GATE 2018 Examination was held on 3, 4, 10 and 11 of February 2018. The responses are available on the GOAPS Platform for download purposes. Only candidate's responses have been made available currently.
The GATE Question Paper and GATE Official Answer Key shall be made available soon on the official site after which the candidates would be able to challenge the answer key/responses.The GATE Examination this year was conducted for about 23 papers. As per the schedule released for IIT Guwahati, challenges/objections on the GATE Answer Key would be accepted from February 21 to 23, 2018.

GATE 2018 Results would be announced on the application portal on March 17, 2018.
The below-mentioned steps can be followed to be able to check GATE 2018 Candidate Responses:

Visit the official GATE Website.

The candidate can click on the GOAPS Portal.

The login details can be entered by the candidate.

Once this done, the responses can be downloaded by the candidate.
The candidate should make sure and download and save the response sheet as the same shall be required once the GATE Official Answer Key is released. The GATE Answer Key would be made available only for a limited period of time. After evaluation of the challenge, IIT Guwahati would be releasing the final results.
GATE Exam would be conducted for admission to Master of Technology Programs. GATE Scores would also be accepted at PSUs to shortlist candidates during the recruitment procedure.
GATE Exam exam is being held by IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IISc Bangalore, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee on behalf of the National Coordination Board, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development.
GATE 2018 was conducted in two slots on February 3, 2018, with Mechanical Engineering as one of the disciplines. The exam went off smoothly with no major issues being reported by students across various cities. As per the usual format of the GATE 2018 Examination, the online exam consisted of questions on Technical Streamwise concepts, Engineering Maths and General Aptitude that was to be completed in a total time of 180 minutes.
The exam was implemented without any operational glitches and the students emerged out of the examination with satisfaction on this front.
