GATE 2018: How to Apply Online on GOAPS

GATE 2018 is being organized by IIT Guwahati. The notification for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering Exam has already been released on August 28. The application procedure has been started from September 1^st, and the last date for the GATE registration is October 5^th.

IIT Guwahati will release the GATE Admit Cards on January 5, and the GATE Online Examination will be held on Saturday, February 3^rd, Sunday, February 4^th and Saturday, February 10^th, Sunday, February 11^th.In this article you'll get to know how to fill up GATE Online Application Form using GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System) in following simple steps:

GOAPS Registration: GOAPS is open now. You can visit this link > http://appsgate.iitg.ac.in/ click on > New User? Register Here > Fill all the required details.
Login to GOAPS: After registering, you can now log in to GOAPS using your filled email ID & password.
Starting GATE Application: Before moving to this step, make sure you have gone through GATE 2018 Information Brochure. Check the declaration box and click on Start GATE 2018 Application Form button.
Filling GATE Application:
Fill up GATE 2018 Exam Details. Choose the Paper you wish to appear in GATE 2018 then Select the Examination Country and all 3 choices for examination city.
Applicant's Personal Details: Fill all the personal details like Name, Email Address, Mobile Number, Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, and Category etc and follow the instructions.
Uploading Photograph: Upload your recent photograph in JPEG/JPG format. The pixel resolution of the photograph should not more than 480*640 and should not less than 240*320. The size of the image should be in a range of 5KB to 200KB and the aspect ratio (width: height) has to be between 0.6603 and 0.8933.
Upload an image of your signature in JPEG/JPG format. The pixel resolution of the signature image should not more than 460*560 and should not less than 80*280. The size of signature image should be in a range of 5KB to 150KB and the aspect ratio (width: height) has to be between 3.1586 and 4.0360
After filling up all the details check the declaration box and click on Save and View Application Button.
Check all the details.
Save and View Application: If all the details are fine, you can now submit the Application Form.
Submit the Application Form And Proceed to Payment: After submitting the GATE Application Form, you can now proceed to payment page.
Payment Page: On Payment Page, Fill all the required details and make the Payment.
Downloading The Application: After making the successful payment, you can now download the GATE Application Form in PDF format.
GATE 2018 Application Process Successful: If your form downloaded successful, you have successfully completed the GATE 2018 Application Procedure.
