GATE 2018 CCMT Counselling: Registration starts from April 3

The schedule for counselling-based GATE 2018 results has been released yesterday by CCMT. According to the notification, the registration process for Centralized Counselling for M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan and M.Des admissions for the academic year 2018will start from April 3. The admission to Post Graduate Programmes of Engineering, Technology and Architecture in the colleges accepting GATE 2018 will be coordinated by CCMT. The Gate 2018 results were declared on March 16 and the scorecards for the same were released onMarch 20.

Candidates aspiring to seek admission to National Institutes of Technologies(NITs) and several other Centrally funded Technical Institutes including Central University of Rajasthan, ABV-IIITM Gwalior, IIITDM Jabalpur, IIIT Allahabad, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology-Longowal, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology-Shibpur, National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology-Ranchi, School of Planning and Architecture-Vijayawada, PEC Chandigarh, IIITD&M Kancheepuram, IIIT Vadodra, Sri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra, University of Hyderabad and Central University of South Bihar Patna must register themselves for counselling and pay application fees before May 8. 2018. The candidate must visit the official website i.e. http://ccmt.nic.in to register themselves and perceive other information about GATE 2018.

According to the notification, seats will be allotted as per the merit list which will entirely depend on the GATE 2018 Scores and availability of seats according to the choice filled by the candidate.

Important Dates about GATE 2018 Counselling:

  • Online Registration Starts: April 3, 2018 (Tuesday)
  • Last date of Online Registration: May 8, 2018 (Tuesday)
  • Last date for Fee Payment: May 8, 2018 (Tuesday)
  • Locking of Choices: May 8 to May 14, 2018
  • Last Date of Online Choice Filling: May 14, 2018 (Monday)

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an entrance examination conducted to test the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science.
