IIT Madras has released the GATE 2019 Result on the official website at gate.iitm.ac.in. The candidates who appeared for GATE 2019 examination must visit the official website to check their Result. GATE scorecards have also been released by the examination conducting authority and will be valid for a period of 3 years.

After the declaration of GATE Result 2019, the official website was facing some issues. However, the issue was solved in the later hours.
GATE 2019 exam was successfully conducted on February 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2019. GATE Result is considered for admission in various Post Graduate Engineering Programmes offered by IITs, NITs, and GFTIs.
The candidates can also download GATE Scorecard before May 31, 2019, without any payments. However, the candidates downloading the Scorecard after May 31, 2019, are required to the late fee of INR 500. GATE Scorecard will be available on the official website till December 31, 2019. The GATE Scorecard will be released for only those candidates who qualify the examination. GATE Score will be valid for a period of three years. Not only for admissions but GATE Scores are also considered for PSU Recruitment Process.

Step 2: Click on the ‘GATE Result' tab available on the homepage

Step 3: Log in by entering your enrolment number and date of birth

Step 4: Your GATE Result will appear on the screen
Candidate must note that there would not be any facility to download the GATE Result page. However, after the release of GATE Scorecard, the candidate can download their Result from the official website.

How GATE Result is Calculate?
After evaluating the answers, the raw marks obtained are used to compute the GATE Score. As the examination is conducted in multiple sessions, the raw marks of each paper are normalized. These normalized marks are used to complete the GATE Score.
How is Normalization Process Implemented?
The normalization process is implemented to ensure that the difficulty levels of the papers of different sessions are considered while preparing the Result.
After qualifying the examination, the candidate must take part in the GATE Counselling conducted for admission in various Post Graduate Programmes. The candidates who are interested in Government jobs can also take part in PSU Recruitment Process.
