GATE CE Paper for the academic year 2019-20 was conducted successfully by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras on February 10, 2019, in two shifts i.e. Morning and Afternoon shift. The CE Paper was the last examination of GATE 2019 examination that commenced from February 2, 2019. GATE 2019 examination was conducted in an online mode on February 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2019 for admission in various Post Graduate Engineering Programmes offered by the IITs and other engineering institutes across the country.
GATE Result 2019 is scheduled to be released on March 16, 2019. IIT Madras has already released the response sheet for the examinations conducted on February 2 and 3, 2019. The response sheet for the examinations conducted in the later week is expected to be released soon by the examination conducting authority.
GATE CE examination was Moderate in difficulty and the expected cutoff could lie between 26-29 marks.
The technical section of the CE paper was moderate whereas the General Aptitude section was quite easy. The technical section carried a few tricky and time-consuming questions. The section carried 7 questions of Maths. The morning session carried 26 Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
