CTET 2018 Goes Online with Major Changes

According to the recent reports, CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) 2018 which is conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) will be holding the examination in Online Mode. Earlier the exam was conducted in traditional pen-paper mode. Not only the mode of Examination but the exam pattern is also likely to be changed in upcoming CTET 2018.


CTET 2018 Notification Expected Soon

CTET 2018 notification is expected to be released in March 2018 and the online form will be available on the official website of CTET i.e. ctet.nic.in. The detailed information about CTET 2018 such as Exam Dates, Syllabus, Eligibility Criteria etc. will soon be notified on the official website by CBSE and candidates aspiring to appear for CTET 2018 should regularly visit the official website regularly. 

CTET 2018 will include two papers. Paper 1 will be conducted for the candidates who aspire to teach from Class I to Class V whereas Paper 2 will be conducted for the candidates who aspire to teach Class VI to Class VIII. Both question papers will contain Objective Multiple-Choice Questions and these questions will be bilingual i.e. in both English and Hindi. The Candidate can choose the language in which they are more comfortable. Candidates must possess a minimum of 60% marks to qualify this examination and this score will be applicable for next 7 years.

CTET Paper 1 will include 150 questions which will comprise of five subjects i.e. Language I & Language II, Child Development & Pedagogy, Environmental Studies, and Mathematics. Each question will have four options and each correct answer will be rewarded with additional one mark.

CTET Paper 2 will also include 150 topics and the subjects will also be like Paper 1 but this Paper will include a detailed study of the same topics.

So the candidates aspiring to seek their career in school teaching profession must regularly check the above-mentioned link of the official website and should also start preparing for the exam.
