CTET 2019: Last Date to Apply is 12 March

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) the conducting authority for CTET 2019 in an official notification has mentioned that the last day to apply for the examination is changed to March 12, 2019, from March 5, 2019. Extending the date for CTET Application Procedure was announced on the official website ctet.nic.in. Which ensures that candidates will be able to fill the application form till March 12 by 05:00 PM. The website also mentions that the last date to pay the CTET Application Fee is March 15, 2019 by 3:30 PM.

CBSE has taken the major decision considering the fact that on earlier stages of filling the application form the candidates reported server issues not allowing them to complete the application procedure. CBSE not just extended the date of registration but also arranged an extra server for the submission of CTET 2019 Application Form online.

This year CTET 2019 is scheduled to be conducted on July 7, 2019, as per the earlier released schedule of CBSE which has still not hinted for any change in the same. The exam will comprise of two papers. For the convenience of the candidates, the exam will carry out in a total of 20 languages across 97 major locations in the country and abroad. There is no restriction of taking only one paper in the examination, candidate as per their will can appear for both the papers to fulfill their dream of becoming a teacher in some of the government and private schools of India.

Key Points of CTET 2019:

  • Once the Admit card released there is no provision of changing the examination center and the candidate will have to take the examination at the center as mentioned at CTET 2019 Admit Card.
  • Admit card is a mandatory document to be carried for examination. Candidate needs to take a print out of it as available online.   
  • Carrying a valid Identity Proof is mandatory along with admit card at CTET Test Centres. The Expected ID Proof includes PAN Card, Passport, Ration Card, Voter Id Card, Driving License, Aadhaar Card etc.
