CTET 2019: Last date to apply for the examination extended by CBSE

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) the conducting authority of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) has decided to extend the last date to apply for the examination. The last date to complete the CTET 2019 Application Procedure, which earlier was March 5, 2019 is now extended till March 12, 2019. Candidates can visit the official website ctet.nic.in and complete the registration process of CTET 2019.

Aspirants now will be able to apply till March 12, 2019, for CTET 2019. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on July 7, 2019.

As the application date is rescheduled, so is the last date to pay the CTET 2019 Application Fee. As per the new notification, the last date to pay the application fee of CTET is March 15, 2019.

The official notification released by CBSE reads as “The CBSE has decided to extend the last date to apply for CTET-July 2019 examination from 05-03-2019 to 12-03-2019 and candidates will be allowed to deposit fee up to 15-03-2019 (3.30 PM).”

The CTET 2019 examination is scheduled to be conducted on July 7, 201,9 in 20 languages across 97 major cities, which includes few international examination centers as well. There is no information regarding the change in the examination dates as of now. Candidates are suggested to keep a track of CTET 2019 Important Dates in order to not miss a curtail date.

How to apply for CTET 2019?

Candidates who aspire to become a teacher in the recognized schools of the country but have still not filled the application form of CTET 2019 have few more days to complete the same. Follow the below mentioned steps to complete the application process:

  • Step 1: Aspirants needs to visit the official website i.e. ctet.nic.in
  • Step 2: On the homepage, there is an active link of ‘apply online’, click the same.
  • Step 3: Aspirants needs to fill the application form with required details and create the registration number by successfully submitting the details.
  • Step 4: In the next step, the candidate needs to upload the images in requisite size and format.
  • Step 5: In the final step, the candidate needs to make payment of application fee.

In a press note released by CBSE the authority has mentioned that “in case the confirmation page is not generated after depositing the requisite fees, the candidate should approach the Joint Secretary (CTET), CTET Unit, CBSE between 10 am to 5 pm from March 25 (Monday) to April 1 (Monday) along with proof of payment of fee, that is, candidate copy of E-Challan.”
