CTET 2019: Last date to apply for July at ctet.nic.in

Aspirants have till today to apply for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019. The registration window for the July examination is closing today on March 5, 2019. Candidates who still have not appeared for the examination have a couple of hours to apply for CTET 2019.


Today is last day to apply for CTET 2019 July session, exam is on July 7, 2019

CTET is national level teacher eligibility test conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for recruitment of teachers in various government as well as private schools across the country. The examination is conducted in two sessions every year. The first session of the exam is conducted in the month July followed by the commencement of the next session in the month of December. Aspirants who miss the opportunity of CTET 2019 Application Procedure for July session will still have a chance to apply in the next session. CTET 2019 July session will be conducted in on July 7, 2019, in the major cities of the country.

 Aspirants should also note that registration process may end today but the candidate will still be able to make online payment of application fee till March 8, 2019, by 03:30 PM.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam will be conducted in the 97 major cities across the country in 20 different languages. The exam is conducted for two papers as mentioned below:

  • Paper 1: Candidates who wish to become a teacher of primary classes (1 to 5) needs to appear for paper 1.
  • Paper 2: Candidates who wish to become a teacher of secondary classes (6 to 8) needs to appear for paper 2.

Candidates can appear for either paper 1 or paper 2 or both depending on the CTET Preparation. Aspirants need to fulfill the CTET Eligibility Criteria for applying, which includes educational qualification like B.Ed or D.EI.Ed certification.
