CMAT Registration slated to begin from October 21

AICTE conducts CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) for candidates every year seeking admissions to MBA programs offered by AICTE Approved institutions/ Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges all over the country.

The last date to register for CMAT is December 15, 2017. The CMAT 2018 Result is tentatively expected to be announced in the month of February after which the counseling dates would be announced in the month of February. Candidates applying for CMAT should possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university and candidates in their final year of their degree can also apply for CMAT examination.

The CMAT exam Pattern consists of 4 sections as follows:

Quantitative
Logical Reasoning
Language
General Awareness

Every section would have 25 questions and would carry 100 marks each. Negative marking exists in the exam wherein 1 mark would be deducted for negative marking. Candidates would be allowed a duration of 3 hours to attempt CMAT 2018. AICTE would be providing a trial test to attempt a month in advance of the examination. The Candidates would get aware of the exam simulation, pattern and navigation a month before the CMAT Examination.

Candidates attempting CMAT should keep a tab on the official website to keep receiving updates on the registration process, admit card, examination date and result. The CMAT examination would be held on January 21, 2018. The CMAT Registration is a three-step procedure that can be completed in 15-20 minutes.

Eligibility Criteria and CMAT Registration Details:

The CMAT Applicant must be a citizen of India.
Graduates from any discipline can apply for CMAT examination.
The Final year students of graduate courses whose result shall be declared before the commencement of before commencement of admissions for 2018-19 can also apply for the exam.
The CMAT Test fee is included in the CMAT Application and Registration Fee. The registration and test fee for OBC candidate is INR 1400 and for SC/ST is INR 700. The CMAT test fee excludes bank charges.
The candidate is required to keep documents relating to their qualification and scanned photograph ready with them while filling the application form.
The scanned signature of the candidate is also required to be uploaded.
The mobile number of the candidate can also be given to receive information via SMS.
