The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2019 the national level law entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 12, 2019, by National Law University (NLU) Orissa. As per the official notification released the last date to apply for CLAT 2019 is March 31, 2019. The process of registration started back on January 13, 2019.
Candidates can visit the official website clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in to complete the CLAT Registration Process before 31st March.
Candidates who still have not completed the CLAT Application Procedure needs to visit the official website clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in before the last date. The online registration window is open for admission in both Postgraduate and Undergraduate courses. The applicants can follow the below mentioned steps to complete the application process,
At the time of filling the application form candidate needs to keep few documents handy like scanned copy of candidate’s Photograph, Signatures and State of Domicile certificate.
Before applying for the exam, the candidate needs to fulfill the CLAT Eligibility Criteria. To apply for undergraduate courses, the candidate should have qualified 10+2 with a minimum score of 45%, similarly to apply for postgraduate courses having a graduation degree with an aggregate of 55% is the must. For the candidates applying under reserved category, a relaxation of 5% is given in the minimum required percentage.
At the time of filling the application form, the candidate needs to select the preferred National Law University (NLU). It is not mandatory to select the NLU in a particular order. However, it is advised to the candidates to do proper research and check CLAT Cutoff of the respective University before shortlisting that. It is also important to note that irrespective of choosing a particular university, admission will be totally based on the rank scored in the examination.
Candidate applying for CLAT under General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI category needs to pay the application fee of Rs. 4,000. For candidates applying under reserved category, the application is set to be Rs. 3,500.
Aspirants can ask for previous year question paper of CLAT by paying an extra amount of Rs. 500 other than application fee which needs to be paid separately.
