CAT 2018 Result has been declared by the IIM Calcutta on the official website of IIM CAT at The CAT aspirants who couldn't crack the examination must not worry, as there are numerous alternate options available for them. Every year lakhs of candidate appear for CAT examination but only a handful of them qualifies it. As CAT is considered to be the toughest management entrance examination, merely one out of fifty candidates make their way to the Indian Institutes of Management.

So, don't feel disheartened if you couldn't qualify the examination this time, there are numerous other alternatives available for you. Below are the numerous other career options available for you:


#1. Other Management Exams:

You can opt for numerous other management entrance examination accepted by the private and government management institutes such as XAT, CMAT, GMAT, SNAP, NMAT, IIFT, IBSAT, MICAT etc.

#2. Executive MBA Programmes:

The candidates who have completed their graduation and have work experience of several years can opt for Executive Management Programmes offered by various institutes such as Indian School of Business, Indian Institutes of Management, Xavier School of Management etc.

#3. Banking Service Examinations:

The candidates who are interested in pursuing their career in the field of commerce, management and finance, can opt for Banking service examinations. There are numerous banking examinations such as RBI Grade A and Grade B examination, SBI PO examination, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, Probationary Officers examination etc.

#4. Luxury Brand Management Programmes:

The fashion industry is booming at a very significant pace and there are numerous specialized area management programmes, associated with big brands of the industry. You can opt for Masters, PG Diploma or Degree programmes in the Luxury Brand Management after completing your Under Graduation.

#5. Government Examinations:

There are numerous elite examinations conducted by the government such as the Civil Service Examination, State Services Examination and Staff Selection Commission examination that guarantees a reputed job after qualifying the examination.
