CAT exam is scheduled to be conducted on November 25, 2018 (Sunday). Less than 24 hours are left for CAT 2018 examination, students are quite anxious for the D-day. Here are few tips for CAT 2018 aspirants that would surely help them in remaining focused and performing well in the examination.

Last Minutes Tips to Score Well in CAT 2018:
#1. Read the questions carefully:
The Golden Rule to Crack any entrance examination is ‘Reading all the questions carefully'. At times students make mistake in understanding the question and end up losing marks in questions which they have covered during preparations. To avoid unwanted deduction of the marks in the areas you have already covered, read each question at least 3-4 times before answering it. Its advisable to read the question meticulously and then decide that whether you need to solve it or skip it.
#2. Believe your strategy:
Remember the strategy you had been using while taking CAT Mock Tests or Sample papers or previous year question papers. There is nothing new that you require to do. Follow the strategy, you had been using during months of your preparation. You must be clear that which section you will be taking first and how much average time you are planning to spend on each section.
#3. Time Management:
Divide the entire duration of examination into small divisions and allot each section a specific time interval. Try to complete that section within the decided time. If you are finding a section more time consuming than your expectation then also give the decided time to that section and switch to another one. Don't waste time on something you don't know, rather effectively use the time in areas where you are quite confident.
#4. Act Smartly:
After months of CAT 2018 Preparations, you would surely be knowing your strengths and weaknesses. Distribute your time and attempt accordingly. Rather than wasting time on your weaker areas, answer those questions where you are confident about securing marks. You can not master a topic while writing an exam, so don't waste time on such areas.
#5. Don't Panic:
Don't take stress by overthinking the result of the exam. You must stay calm otherwise it will surely hamper your performance in the exam. Rather than taking an entirely new topic or checking what your friends are doing, just relax and revise what you have already covered. Go through the formulae and other short pointers that must have made while preparation and stay confident.
