By: Kanishk on May 31, 2019

The notification for Common Admission Test, CAT 2019 exam is expected to be out soon for the candidates preparing for the CAT exam The CAT exam calendar is yet to be announced on the official website i.e. Like the previous years, this year also, it is expected that the CAT exam will be conducted either on the last Sunday of November or on the first Sunday of December 2019. This year, it is expected that Indian Institute of Management, Kozikhode (IIM-K) will be entrusted the responsibility of conducting the exam.

As per the trend, IIMs are entrusted the responsibility of conducting the CAT 2019 exam on rotation basis. Last year IIM Calcutta was handed over the task of conducting the exam pan India. The exam went smoothly without any technical glitches from registration till the CAT result was out. Before IIM Calcutta, top IIMs such as IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Indore, IIM Lucknow and IIM Bangalore have also proved their mettle in conducting the exam across various test centers in India.  Out of all the 20 IIMs, this year there is a high possibility that IIM Kozhikode, who has not conducted the exam yet, will be assigned the task of conducting CAT 2019.

The early announcement of the CAT 2019 exam date will help the candidates plan strategically for the exam. It will also enable other exam conducting authorities to plan the exam dates wisely, avoiding clash with other major national level MBA entrance exams. Aspirants can start getting registered for the CAT 2019 exam from the 2nd week of August 2019.
