Darshit Jasani scored 99.04 percentile in CAT 2015. On being interviewed by Collegesearch, he shared a few tips as to the approach one needs to have for the exam. He had prepared for a duration of 1.5 years by undertaking coaching which ensured he was in regular touch with the same. He mentioned that particularly for the language section, extensive reading of novels, newspapers and business periodicals is required. For the Quantitative and the Logical Reasoning section, extensive practice is required. He also warned about excessively relying on shortcuts and tricks that are often shared by coaching institutes.
He juggled his engineering degree and preparation for CAT and emerged as the topper in his degree apart from delivering a high percentile in CAT 2015. He is currently admitted to Stanford university and is super excited about this upcoming opportunity. He is proud to be part of a university that has such old and prestigious legacy.As evident from his interview, CAT aspirants need to keep working hard and improve on their key focus areas to ace the exam with flying colors.
