Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, will be conducting admissions in Under Graduate courses i.e. Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Pharmacy programmes through all-India computerized competitive entrance examination named BITSAT 2018 (BITS Admission Test). BITSAT is conducted every year for the admissions in three BITS campuses situated in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. BITSAT 2018 is scheduled to be conducted from May 16 to May 31, 2018 at 50 centres across the country. The examination will be conducted through online mode and the candidates must visit the official website of BITS Pilani i.e. http://www.bits-pilani.ac.in/ to get the detailed information about the examination centres.

BITS, Pilani is a Deemed University and comprises of 15 Academic Departments which provides Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses in Engineering, Sciences and Management Programmes. BITSAT 2018 is an entrance examination which enables candidates to get admission in BE Honours integrated first degree programmes in various disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical and Economics, Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering. The candidates aspiring to seek admissions in B. Pharma Honours, M. Sc Honours and M. Sc Tech. programmes shall also apply for BITSAT 2018.
Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT 2018:
- The candidate should have passed Intermediate or equivalent with a minimum of 75 Percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a reputed board.
- The candidates applying for B. Pharm should have Biology in lieu of Mathematics.
- The candidate must possess at least 60 percent marks in the above-mentioned subjects individually.
- The candidates appearing for intermediate or 12th class examination can also apply for this examination.
The admissions through BITSAT 2018 can be obtained by the ranks scored by the candidates in this entrance examination. the toppers of State and Central Board are provided direct admission to the course of their preference.
