Applications are invited for POSOCO GATE 2019 Recruitment

The process to recruit executive trainee through the national level entrance exam GATE 2019 has started in Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO). The organization has invited applications for POSOCO GATE 2019 Recruitment and the window to open for the same is opened from September 16, 2018, to October 15, 2018. Applications are invited for POSOCO GATE 2019 Recruitment

On basis of the advertisements released by POSOCO's limited via Advt. No. CC/07/2018, applications are invited for the post of Executive Trainees in Electrical and Computer Science disciplines. However, the number of vacancies is not disclosed yet and will be released by the POSOCO in separate notification soon.

Eligibility criteria to apply for the post:

It is mandatory for the aspiring candidate to appear for GATE 2019 exam and must have a substantial GATE 2019 score in the respective GATE 2019 paper that is Electrical Engineering (EE) to submit application for posts of ET (Electrical), Computer Science and Information Technology (CS) to apply for post of ET (Computer Science).
Interested candidate must have completed a full-time degree in B.E., B.Tech or B.Sc. (Engg.) from a recognized University or Institution with the minimum of 65% marks in aggregate or an equivalent CGPA in Electrical or Computer Science stream.

The selection process for the post:

Candidate will be evaluated on basis of marks obtained in GATE 2019 followed by a group discussion (GD) and the final selection will be done on basis of performance in personal interview. The weightage for the 3 rounds are as follow:

GATE 2019 scorecard: 85%
Group Discussion: 3%
Personal Interview 12%

Age Limit for the post:

The age limit set for the candidates as per the company guidelines is that the applying candidate should not be more than 28 years as on 31st July 2019. Age relaxation in some cases is also provided as mentioned:

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:

For OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates: 3 years (for the posts reserved for the particular category)
For SC/ST candidates: 5 years
For PwD candidates: 10 years over and above category relaxation
J&K Domicile / Ex-Servicemen/ Victims of riots: The age relaxation to apply for the post will be as per Govt. of India directives

Application Fee:

To apply for the post: Candidates applying from general and other unreserved category need to pay Rupees 500 as application fee, while candidates applying through the reserved category (SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Serviceman and Departmental) these candidates will be exempted from fee payment.
