The All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi has commenced the basic registration process of AIIMS MBBS 2019 examination for admission in Under Graduate medical courses offered by AIIMS campuses. The last date to fill the online basic registration form is January 3, 2019. Candidates aspiring to appear for AIIMS 2019 must visit the official website of AIIMS at aiimsexams.org.

From this year, AIIMS has introduced the Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) facility. The Basic Registration of the same commenced from November 30, 2018 and the Final Registration will start from February 21, 2019. The AIIMS Basic Registration Process includes providing the personal details, contact details and uploading the scanned image of passport size photograph, signature and left-thumb impression.
Who Can Apply for AIIMS 2019?
Before applying for the examination, the candidate must understand the AIIMS Eligibility criteria to avoid the rejection of their application form. Following are the details of AIIMS 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

The age of the AIIMS aspirant must be 17 years on December 31 of the year of admission. The candidates who are born after January 2, 2003, can't appear for the examination.

Candidate must have passed class XII from a recognized board with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the mandatory subjects.

Candidates appearing for class XII boards can also apply for AIIMS 2019.

The minimum marks required to appear for AIIMS is 60 percent (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English) for the candidates of Unreserved and OBC category. SC/ST candidates are provided a relaxation of 10 percent whereas PwD candidates require 45 percent to appear for AIIMS 2019.

Steps to fill AIIMS Basic Registration Form:
Step 1: Visit the official website AIIMS exam at aiimsexams.org
Step 2: Click the link saying ‘Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) for UG courses has been started' available on the homepage

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen
Step 4: Click on ‘Proceed for Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR)' link

Step 5: Again, a new page will appear, click on ‘Undergraduate Courses'

Step 6: New Basic Registration page will appear on the screen provide the required information such as personal details, contact details and upload the above-mentioned requirements

Step 6: Submit the form and take a print out for further references
About AIIMS 2019:
AIIMS is a national level medical entrance examination conducted for admission in 15 AIIMS across the country. Every year nearly 3 lakh candidates appear for AIIMS and the examination for the academic year 2019 is scheduled to be conducted on May 25 & May 26, 2019.
