AIIMS 2019: Entrance Exam dates, how to apply and all other details needed

For the aspirants preparing to take Entrance Examination of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), the wait is over as AIIMS has announced its Entrance Exam Schedule for the MBBS course of 2019. AIIMS recently released its annual exam calendar which highlights the tentative exam and result dates for the important entrance exams conducted by the institute. AIIMS-Delhi will conduct the MBBS Entrance Exam- 2019 on 25th and 26th May of 2019.
Candidates who want to take admission in MBBS course at any of the 9 AIIMS spread across the nation will have to take this national level Entrance Examination. Apart from that dates for postgraduate courses at AIIMS has also been released, the exam will be held on May 5, 2019. For M.Sc. aspirants for courses at AIIMS will be held on 29th June of 2019. Similarly for admission in M.Sc. Biotechnology, the entrance exam will be held on the same day. Results will be declared on July 5, 2019.

AIIMS Admissions 2019:
Admissions for MBBS-2019 at AIIMS will start from 1st week of February 2019 with the release of online application forms for registration, available on the official website of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
Eligibility for applying in MBBS-2019:
- Candidates must be a citizen of India, however, candidates belonging to OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) & Foreign National candidates are also eligible.
- Candidates applying must be minimum of 17 years as on 31st December 2019.
- Candidates completed or perusing 10+2 with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English as the main subjects. For candidates applying through General, OBC and OCI category should have 60% aggregate marks, while SC/ST/OPH & Foreign Nationals Candidates have a relaxation of 10% and they only need 50% aggregate to apply for MBBS program.
AIIMS Application form 2019:
- Application forms for taking admissions in MBBS-2019 is only available online and students are suggested to read the entire prospectus very carefully to avoid rejection of the application by any means. The candidate will have till 1st week of March to apply for the admission.
- Candidates while applying for admission will have to upload scanned copy of the passport size photograph (Size: 50 KB to 100 KB, Dimension: 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm), Signature (Size: 20 KB to 100 KB, Dimension: 3 cm x 6 cm) & Left hand thumb impression (Size: 20 KB to 100 KB, Dimension: 4 cm x 3 cm) in a jpg/jpeg/gif/png format for filling up the applications.
Application/Registration Fee:
- The application fee for candidates applying under General or OBC category will have to pay Rs. 1, 500
- For SC/ST category, the fee will be Rs. 1, 200.
- Candidates can deposit the application fee through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking, in some cases transaction charges may be applicable.
Admit card for MBBS-2019:
From 1st week of May 2019, admit card of applied students whose application has been accepted by AIIMS, will be available on the official website of Institute, the same can be downloaded and printed for appearing in the Exam.
