By: R Chandrakala on February 26, 2018

With only a month more to go for UPSEE 2018, it is necessary for candidates to take a very practical approach towards things. UPSEE 2018 is a state level examination that opens multiple opportunities for deserving candidates. UPSEE would be conducted by Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam University for admission to courses like B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharm/BFA/MBA/MCA and MAM courses offered by the state of Uttar Pradesh.

A few tips and tricks to help candidates prepare well for UPSEE are listed as below:

Physics

Prepare a list of or a sheet of important formulae prepared from all chapters. This would help you in timely revision as days become lesser towards the examination. You should have them on your tips to save time in the objective examination. Concepts related to mass, kinematics, mechanics and semiconductor is an important area for preparation.

Chemistry

There are various direct inorganic and organic part questions. Basic Organic Chemistry revolves around Resonance effect, acidic comparison, inductive effect is also asked, but are not tough.

Mathematics

Formulae are the key to various questions. Options can assist in saving time for the algebraic ones. With topics like calculus, matrices and determinants, options would help you save a lot of time. When a candidate is running out of time, utilize that moment in choosing the answer to avoid negative marking.

Attempting Mathematics at the end would be a better option if that is a weaker area for candidates. The examination might sometimes contain a lengthy question that would require long calculations and also affect your time management. One would be strictly required to solve past year question papers for a period of 5 years, as many times questions may be repetitive and could be a bonus to students.

An in-depth study of NCERT Syllabus and previous year question papers would help a candidate do well.
