3 Months Preparation Strategy for XAT 2018!!

XAT (Xavier's Aptitude Test) is one of the most famous MBA entrance exams among the MBA aspirants. XAT 2018 exam will be held on 7th January 2017 to take admissions into XLRI (Xavier School of Management) and its associate MBA colleges. Only three months are left for the XAT exam to be conducted. To clear the XAT 2018 exam, the XAT preparation should be in the right direction as required. When a few days are left, smart study helps to score maximum marks.
Here are some best tips to clear XAT 2018 in three months-
1) Understanding the Exam Pattern-
To crack the competitive exam like XAT, it is important to know the pattern of the exam. Without understanding the pattern of the exam, the direction of preparation may go on a wrong track. XAT 2018 will be conducted in an Online mode for the first time, and now the candidates have to organize their preparation according to the mode of exam. The XAT exam will be divided into two papers. Paper 1 will consist of questions from Logical Reasoning & Decision Making, Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation. Paper 2 comprises of questions from GK and essay writing.
2) Skim Through Syllabus-
To frame the path of preparation, the candidate needs to skim thoroughly through the Syllabus. Getting a proper insight of the syllabus will help to create a proper strategy and help in better time management during the preparation.
3) Previous Year Papers-
As only 3 months are there to prepare, Previous year papers will help to prepare for the exam in a short span of time. Previous year papers prove to be more valuable than the books in such a scenario. Solve atleast 10 years previous year papers keeping into account the time factor and then evaluate your performance.
The last that a candidate needs to do is to practice a lot of questions than studying through books. Join mock test series for that purpose.
