National Defence Academy Paper 1 was known to be comparatively easy in comparison to last year. Mathematics section was known to be easy whereas a lesser number of questions were asked from Physics and Chemistry section. General Ability Test section was moderately difficult.

The NDA Exam Highlights are given as below:

  1. The NDA Exam analysis explains the difficulty level of both the papers simultaneously.
  2. The Average Score that a candidate needs to make to qualify as cutoff is also mentioned as below.
  3. Candidates would also be able to check "good attempt" based on the difficulty level of the paper.

Mathematics

The Mathematics Section had questions from topics such as Algebra, Matrices, Determinants, Trigonometry, Probability, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations.The Total marks that have been allotted to this section are about 300.

General Ability Section

This section carries a total of 150 questions for a maximum mark of 600. The paper is divided into Part A and Part B. Part A carried questions from the English Section and Part B carries questions from Science and General Knowledge. Questions were moderate to difficult.
