The application procedure of JIPMER MBBS 2020 Exam is expected to begin during the first week of March 2020 and the application forms for the same will be made available online i.e. on the official website of JIPMER. Candidates willing to appear in the examination must register themselves by filling the application form available on JIPMER's official website. JIPMER registration procedure will be considered complete only after the payment of application fee.
JIPMER Registration window will remain open till the second week of April 2020 and students must register themselves before the application window closes. Candidates must know that there would be no such facility to make corrections in the duly filled form, hence they must ensure that the details filled in by them are correct and won't be required to be changed under any circumstances. Incomplete application forms would be completely rejected.
To execute a hassle-free application procedure, candidates must check the browser requirements defined by the institute before filling the application form of JIPMER 2020. Candidates who fail to fill their form with complete and correct details would be rejected.

The application procedure consists of 5 steps which are as follows:

For the initial step, candidates would have to enter details, qualifications and address for regular correspondence. Their personal details such Date of birth, Name of parents, nationality, gender and full name would have to be given. Candidates would be allowed to select a maximum of 3 exam centers from the list given.
The digital photograph and signature should be uploaded in the format and size required. The photo must be taken with a placard representing the name of the candidate and date when the photograph is taken.
JIPMER 2020 Eligibility
Candidates willing to take JIPMER 2020 Examination must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria defined by the institute before even filling out the application form. The institute has defined a set of criteria fulfilling on which, candidates would be allowed to take the exam and admission in case they get to qualify the examination.
These criteria have been defined based on four factors i.e. Nationality, Age Limit, Academic Qualification, Appearing the Qualifying Examination.

Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Candidate belonging to overseas must register themselves under section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955.

Candidates with foreign nationality must take permission from the Medical Council of India i.e. MCI.

Age Limit

Candidates must be of 17 years of age at the time of admission.

There is no limitation to maximum age limit keeping all other factors of eligibility considered.

There is no age relaxation given to any category.

Academic Qualification

Candidates must have completed senior secondary school from a recognized board.

Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology subjects in class 12th.

Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in class 12th (40% marks in case of reserved categories).

Appearing in the qualifying examination
|

Candidates who would be appearing in qualifying examination in the month of March or April or candidates who are waiting for their result would be considered eligible to take the examination.

Browser requirements to complete JIPMER Registration
Candidates willing to fill the application form of JIPMER 2020 Exam would not be able to do so if the browser they would be using is not compatible with that of the institute website. How to Fill JIPMER 2020 Application Form
The application procedure of JIPMER 2020 Exam can be completed in four steps given below:

JIPMER Registration
The first step to registering for the exam is to visit the official website and complete the registration procedure. Below is the procedure one must follow to complete the registration procedure:

Candidates must visit the official website of JIPMER i.e. jipmer.edu.in or jipmer.puducherry.gov.in.

Navigate to “Apply online MBBS Admission 2020” link and click on it.

Read the instructions given carefully to not commit any mistake while filling the application form.
-
Enter the required details such as Name, Email Id, Mobile No., etc. correctly.
-
A User ID and Password will be generated and sent to candidates' registered email id and mobile number.
-
Click on the link sent to you on your registered email id and complete the remaining procedure of application.
Note* Candidates must make sure that the email id and mobile number registered by them are correct as they would be intimated via registered email and mobile number.
Filling of Application Form

Click on the link sent to you on your email id and navigate to “Login” tab.

Enter the User ID and Password candidates received on their registered email id and mobile number.

Click on “Login” tab.
After the candidate is logged in, following are the details they must fill in order to proceed with the application procedure:

Candidates must check the name and date of birth entered by them during registration procedure.

Fill the personal as well as qualification details as per the requirement of the form.
-
Enter the other necessary details such as address and id proof details.
-
Fill the exam city and center preferences.
Uploading of Documents
After filling in all the required details, candidates would be required to upload some documents which are important from admission's point of view. Before uploading the documents, candidates must make sure that the documents are uploaded in the format as mentioned in the instructions.

Specification for Uploading Documents:

The photograph should have been taken after January 31, 2020.

Candidates should upload their digital signature of 80*35 mm taken on a paper with a black ball pen. The size of the image should be between 20-200 KB.

Payment of JIPMER Application Fee
This is the last step to the completion of JIPMER Registration process. The registration process will not be considered completed without having received the payment of application fee. During the procedure of registration, candidates will be redirected to the payment gateway where they can process the payment of application fee.

Candidates would be able to make the payment after they upload the scanned copy of their passport sized photograph and signature.

Candidates must note that the payment of application fee can only be made via online mode as there is no such facility to make the payment offline.

After filling all the necessary details, candidates must submit the application form. The candidate may click on the preview button to check all the details mentioned in the application form. Once the form is submitted, candidates would not be able to edit the same in any circumstance. Candidates would finally be clicking "I agree'' tab to finally submit the form.
The application fee would be paid in online mode by way of credit card/debit card/internet banking. The cost of the application form would be INR 1200+ transaction charges for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OPH categories. The offline mode of payment for the application fee would not be available.
After the fee payment, a final applicant page would be generated. The printout of the computer -generated form would be taken and would consist of details such as personal details, payment options, qualification and correspondence address.
The application form stands rejected in the following cases:

Candidates who would fail to meet the age limit laid by JIPMER.

Candidates failing to obtain minimum marks in 10+2 exam or equivalent
-
Candidates applied under Puducherry quota without a valid proof
-
Candidates applying in the non-creamy layer and sub-caste not listed in the OBC category.
-
Non-submission of OCI registration issued by the competent authority
-
Candidates applying in SC/ST without valid proof by competent authority.
