With the completion of JEE Advanced 2020, the candidates who made their ways through JEE Main 2023 to one of the toughest examination of the country must be in the state of dilemma that what if they can't make it to the next level. IIPE Visakhapatnam was established in the year 2016 for providing undergraduate courses in the field of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering. Last year the parliament has passed and declared the institute under the category of “institute with national importance” just like all other IITs. For admission in the institute candidate needs to have qualified JEE Advanced with a merit and candidates with the score within the required cutoff will be called for further rounds of counselling. IISER Bhopal also abbreviated as IISERB was established in the year 2008 and within a decade it managed to be in the list of top colleges for research in India. This also ranked 98 in the top engineering colleges of the country in the year 2017. With a total of eight departments and 2 integrated course the instate takes admission to BS-MS course is based on scores obtained in JEE Main/ JEE Advanced/ ISAT Entrance Exam.

Established in the year 2007 as an autonomous academy IISER Mohali is among one of the seven Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) formed after IISER Pune and IISER Kolkata. The government has also granted it the status of Institute of National Importance. Admission in Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research, Mohali is done through 3 channels which includes KVPY channel, JEE Main/Advance Channel and SCB Channel. IISER Kolkata was established in 2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India in the Nadia district of West Bengal. The institute serve as main node for Center for Space Sciences, India (CESSI) a multi-institutional Center of Excellence established through funding by the government. Like all other IISER's the institute also take admissions only through KVPY/JEE Main/ JEE Advanced and SCB. Candidate needs to qualify the examination with a really high score to take admission in IISER Kolkata.

IISER Thiruvananthapuram popularly known as IISER Trivandrum and IISER TVM was established in the year 2008, the same year IISER Bhopal was established in the central part pf the country. Established by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MOP&NG), Government of India at Jais, Dist. Amethi, Uttar Pradesh RGIPT was established in the year 2008 and granted the status of “Institute of National Importance”.
