What is Goa CET ?

The Goa Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Goa for admissions in Undergraduate programmes of Engineering, Medical, Dental, Homeopathy and Pharmacy.

Goa CET 2020 Eligibility

Candidates must be Indian nationals. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 from Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Education or its equivalent examination with an aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST) Applicants must have studied English, Physics and Mathematics as the main subjects along with Chemistry / Bio-technology / Computer Science / Biology as one of the optional subjects

Goa CET 2020 Admit Card

Once the application form, along fee (Rs. 1500), is submitted properly, candidates will be issued admit card. Goa CET 2016 admit card will also be issued, only in person. Candidates will not be able to download it form the website or any where else.

Candidates will be issued the photo-admit card on the same day, in which they will submit filled application form, along DD of Rs. 1500 and three identical photos.

Candidates who will submit the incomplete application form, or will fail to submit all the required documents with it, will not be allotted Goa CET 2016 photo admit card. Without the hall ticket, permission to enter exam hall will not be granted. It is an important document, which will state the identity of the candidate. It will ensure that the entrant taking the exam is the same as the applicant.

Candidates are advised to secure the GCET 2016 admit card properly, as it will not be issued again. Also, candidates will need it while checking the result and applying for counseling. So, secure it carefully is crucial.

Goa CET 2020 Exam Pattern

Candidates must prepare as per the Class 12 syllabus of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education The Goa CET 2015 will be conducted in thesubjects namely Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each subject paper will comprise of 75 questions to be answered in two hours. Each correct answer will fetch 1 mark. There is no negative marking for wrong or multiple answers.

Goa CET 2020 Counseling Details

Candidates who have applied for Goa CET 2016 Counselling by submitting the Goa CET 2016 Application Form B will be eligible for Goa CET 2016 Counselling.

Candidates must check the Goa CET 2016 counselling schedule and the list of selected candidates  to attend the counselling

Candidates must be physically present for the Goa CET 2016 Counselling.

Candidates must attend the Counselling of Goa CET 2016 in person along with the Acknowledgement card, specified documents in original and the admission fees specified below.

Note: candidates must carry the originals of the documents enclosed with Goa CET 2016 Application Form B.

Candidates can choose their choice of seat depending upon their Merit Rank.

At the end of the admission process in each round, vacant seats of the reserved categories will be transferred to the general category.

1. Identical photograph affixed on the Application Form of GCET 2016.

2.  Date of Birth certificate.

3.  HSSC Passing Certificate/Marks Statement.

4.  School/college leaving certificate.

5.  Residence Certificate.

6.  Certificate for reserved category claimed.

7.  Documents for relaxation in the period of residence (if applicable).

8  Acknowledgement card of GCET 2016 with photograph.

9.  Candidate Copy of GCET Admit Card 2016. Income Certificate (For Tuition Fee Waiver).

10.  Eligibility Certificate from Goa University (for applicants other than Goa Board).
