Central teacher eligibility preparation is the first step to get eligible for the job opportunity of a teacher in any of the government schools, one must be a graduate and must have a B. ED degree to attempt this exam. In case a person has not done graduation have the opportunity to do a 2-year diploma course of JBT or can also go for a B.Ed. programme of 4-years and then can apply for CTET.

In order to clear this exam, you need to put your 100% focus on preparations for the same, you must keep in mind few points in mind to get more than 100 score in your exam. In this we will focus on top 3 hacks that will turn out to be an amazing help to clear not just CTET but any teaching exam with good marks.

NCERT Books:

This is the first and the most important point in order to clear any teaching exam, as NCERT books are the books which will be used in teaching students once you become a professional teacher. This is given most preference because they are made by a very professional team of scientist specially for teaching students. Hence it is very important to get through all NCERT books.

  • Level 1- books of 3rd-5th (EVS mandatory, as most of the questions will be based on EVS only)
  • Level 2- all books of 6th-8th all NCERT (depending on the subject, example if you are going for pol. Science then all books of the subject must be properly studied)

Even if you have done an amazing training course then too you require to study NCERT books properly. You can also take some refresher books from private schools for more knowledge and preparation.

Previous Year Paper:

Study with previous year papers are very important but jumping on it directly will never help to crack the exam. Previous year paper helps you to bound your knowledge and give you an idea of what type of exam questions you will be facing. You can refer few books like R. Gupta or can directly download previous year paper from CTET official website.

When you practice various previous year papers you get to know your speed and can improve it eventually with each practice paper. Practice is most important to clear the exam specially for pedagogy and psychology sections as it consumes a lot of time and thinking. So, as to focus on the difficult part easily execution is the key!

Teaching training books:

Understanding student point of view and psychology is very important when you opt your career as a teacher, you must be aware about all teaching methods and handling children. You need to go for different case studies and theories, for which teaching training books are mandatory which are easily available online.

All three points are very important to prepare for CTET exam, you won't be able to succeed if you miss any one of them. Only thorough reading and study will help you crack this exam.
