AUCET Exam - An Overview

The full form of AUCET is the Andhra University Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level examination administered by the Andhra University in Vishakhapatnam for admission to various post-graduate courses offered by the colleges affiliated with Andhra University, and Dr. BR Ambedkar University in Srikakulam. These courses include M.Tech, MSc, MA, M.Com, M.H.R.M, M.J.M.C, M.L.I.Sc, M.P.Ed, M.Ed, and 5-year integrated Geology and Applied Chemistry courses. 

The AUCET Exam is administered as 13 different types of tests by the conducting body which includes 27 Commerce and Arts courses, 42 Science courses, and 2 Science courses in AUCE(A).

There is no set age limit. However, The maximum eligible age to apply for fee reimbursement for reserved classes (SC/ST) is 34, and for EBC/Minorities/Disabled candidates it is 30 years

Nationality & Domicile

Candidate must be a citizen of India and a local resident of the Andhra Pradesh state along with a valid proof of the permanent address

Educational Qualification

  • Must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board securing at least 50% marks in the General Categry, and 45% in the reserved category
  • Candidates who have appeared or are appearing for their 2024 qualifying examination are eligible

How to fill out the AUCET Application Form?

Step 1: Register for the AUCET Exam

The first step is to register yourself for the AUCET Exam on the official website - audoa.in. Once you are on the website, follow the below instructions:

  • Fill in personal details like Name, DOB, Mobile No., Nationality, Email ID, Passing Year, Parents' Name, category, and Aadhar Number.
  • Click on the ‘Register' button at the end of the form. A confirmation will be sent to the registered email address
  • Log in with the credentials received on the registered email

Step 2: Fill out the AUCET Application Form

Once you have logged in to the website, you must follow the below instructions to fill out the AUCET Application Form.

  • Click on the ‘AUCET 2024 Application Form' link
  • Enter all the details asked like personal details, contact information, etc.
  • Select a security question and answer the same
  • Hit the ‘Submit' button at the end of the Application Form
  • Download the PDF copy of the AUCET 2024 Application Form and save for further use

The AUCET counseling and seat allotment procedure begins after the AUCET Results are out. Candidates who have scored equal to or more than the AUCET Cutoff criteria will be eligible for the counseling process. Candidates must register for the counseling process on the official website - audoa.in and then go through a document verification process. Post the document verification, the remaining procedure will start. The AUCET counseling process is explained in detail below:
