AIIMS PG is conducted twice a year by All India Institute of Medical Sciences for admission to its Post Graduate courses to fill as many as 160 MD/MS and MDS seats in various streams. AIIMS, New Delhi announces notification for MD/MS and MDS courses in months of January and July every year. The MD/MS and MDS entrance exam for July session is conducted in the month of May and for January session exam is held in November.
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi administers a national level test known as the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Post-Graduate Test (AIIMS PG 2023). The test is given twice a year (between January and July) to applicants to MD, MS, M.Ch., DM, and MDS programmes. To be eligible to apply, a candidate must have received at least 55% in aggregate in the requisite qualification (50% for SC/ST applicants). AIIMS PG 2023 Application Form
Only through the conducting body's official portal may interested and qualified students apply for the AIIMS PG 2023 test and fill out the application form. Before beginning to fill out the application form, candidates should carefully read the instructions and all qualifying requirements.
- Candidates must first go to the AIIMS official website.
- Applicants must complete the AIIMS registration 2023 form on the official website.
- For registration, candidates must give a valid email address and a password.
- After successfully registering, candidates must complete the AIIMS application form.
- Candidates must complete the application form with all relevant information.
- The application form's information should be filled out properly.
- The signature and photos must be scanned and submitted.
- Candidates can check the status of their uploaded photographs within 3-5 working days following the online date.
- Until the AIIMS registration opens, the rejected photos might be modified.
- After successfully submitting all papers, the candidate must pay the application cost.
- Only those who have successfully registered may access the AIIMS PG 2023 Admit Card.
- Candidates should check the AIIMS website for the final status of their Registration Form, including photographs and eligibility, as well as their Admit Card.

AIIMS PG 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates of Indian origin, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and international citizens are eligible to apply for the AIIMS PG 2023 test.
- Those applying for an MD or MS programme should have an MBBS degree from a renowned university recognised by the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India.
- Applicants for the MDS programme must have a BDS degree or an equivalent degree from a renowned university recognised by the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India.
- Internship: To be eligible for the entrance exam, applicants must have completed a minimum of twelve months of rotating internship.
- Minimum marks: General class applicants must get at least 55% in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates from the reserved classes must obtain more than 50% on the qualifying exam.
