Yashwantrao Chavan Arts and Commerce College Details

Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) is one of the largest universities located in Nashik, Maharashtra. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). 

The university holds memberships in esteemed statutory bodies such as the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), and Commonwealth of Learning (COL). YCMOU offers more than 100 courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and research levels. 

Additionally, the university provides 35 Certificate and 29 Diploma programs, catering to a diverse range of fields through its eight schools. YCMOU admissions to UG and PG courses (excluding MBA, MPH, and Ph.D.) are solely based on merit in the qualifying exams. For MBA and MPH aspirants must pass the Common Entrance Test (CET) to get admission. Ph.D. admissions require candidates to score well in the Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) and successfully complete a personal interview conducted by the university. 

YCMOU provides excellent placement and internship opportunities, with the highest salary package reaching INR 12 LPA and an average salary package of INR 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TATA Housing, IBM, LT, Crompton Greaves, Mphasis, Club Mahindra, Taj, and DK Group.
