VIT AP University Details
VIT AP University commenced its establishment in the academic year of 2017. The institute is situated in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. It is a private state University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Vellore Institute of Technology was established in 1984 as a self-financing institution and VIT AP is another succession in VIT alliance. The main aim of establishing the institute was to transform higher education and contribute to the improvement of society.

The infrastructure of the university is spread over an area of 200 acres. The campus of the institute provides its students with a pleasant, comfortable, and vibrant life. There are two academic blocks available for students and staff. Both the blocks are separately equipped with the essential facilities and provide the best ambience for studies and research. The primary facilities offered by the institute include Hostels, Library, Labs, Band and ATM, Cafeteria, Transport, and Health Center.
- The cafeteria provides delicious food at a reasonable price. The food is served with a wide range of varieties and hygiene is ensured.
- The laboratories are well equipped with the recent technologies. The faculty members make sure it is utilized by students in every way possible. There are several labs for various programs. The students are encouraged to discuss and implement their ideas.
- The hostel facilities are provided to the students coming from out of the city. The buildings are guarded by security guards and only VITians and VIT authorized personnel are allowed.
- The library is equipped properly with informative books of the latest editions. The library includes reading halls, digital library, a reference hall, discussion rooms, and a newspaper section. There are books, e-books, journals, magazines, newspapers, CDs and DVDs.
- Health center of the institute ensures health of students and staff. The medical needs of the students are taken care of.
The faculty members of the institute are well educated and highly qualified. They use the most recent technologies to make understanding easier. Most of the members are experienced in their respective fields.
There are several programs offered by the institute at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. VIT AP Courses include BBA and B. Tech programs offered at the undergraduate level, Integrated M. Tech at the postgraduate level, and PhD program at the Doctorate level. Candidates seeking admission to any of the programs must ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the institute.
For admission to VIT AP, the candidates must visit the official website of the institute. VIT AP Admissions can be achieved by filling the application form available on its official website. The candidates are finally shortlisted based on the marks obtained by the candidates in respective entrance examinations.
- For admission to BBA, the candidates are shortlisted based on Management Task along with personal interview round conducted by the institute.
- For admission to B. Tech, the candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in VITEEE.
- Admission to Integrated M. Tech is done based on the merit in the qualifying examination.
- Admission to the PhD program, the candidates are shortlisted based on the marks obtained in VITREE.
VIT-AP School of Business Placement:
The placement and training cell of the institute has collaborated with several well reputed companies. The cell mainly functions to prepare students to face campus interviews. VIT AP Placements have seen a decent increase over the past few years.
