Varanasi College of Pharmacy Details

Varanasi College of Pharmacy is one of the top colleges for Pharmacy and was established in 2008. The college has been approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Studies (AICTE). It is affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University and Board of Technical Education, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Varanasi College of Pharmacy Courses

 

Varanasi College of Pharmacy offers primarily two courses both at undergraduate level which are bachelor's in pharmacy and Diploma in Pharmacy. Courses along with their eligibility criteria and duration are mentioned below:

Varanasi College of Pharmacy Admission 

Admission in Varanasi College of Pharmacy is based upon Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) and marks obtained in 10+2. Students will have to visit the college website and obtain the application form. To get enrolment in B. Pharm students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Maths in 10+2 and passed it with minimum 50%. Some seats are reserved for reserved category. UPSEE is conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University and seats which remain unfulfilled are filled by the college based on student's merit. Students at the time of admission will have to present the following documents:

  1. Marksheet (10th, 12th or of Graduation if done)
  2. Migration or transfer certificate
  3. Character Certificate
  4. 6 Passport size photograph
  5. Income certificate (if it is less than 1 Lac P.A)
  6. Caste certificate (if from ST/SC/OBC)
  7. Domicile
  8. Aadhar Card

Once candidates have submitted the application form and qualified the UPSEE, they will be contacted by the admission office for further counselling.

Placement cell of Varanasi College of Pharmacy helps students to get into big pharmaceutical companies by honing their skills and making them aware of the medicine industries and how medicines are manufactured and distributed across the country. Good College with Average Placements

Placement: There are not many companies that visit our campus.
College: The infrastructure of the pharmacy institute is well maintained. The college provides high speed wifi facilities to its students. The classrooms are digitalized with projectors.$The officials are not always responsible to what students go to them with. Besides, the admission process is quite complicated when compared to other colleges’ admission process.
