Lucknow University Overview
Lucknow University also known as the University of Lucknow (LU) is a state public university. It was established in 1920 and is one of the oldest universities in India. LU has recognition from UGC, AICTE, ACU, AIU, and DEC. Further, it has been accredited with NAAC ‘A++’ Grade. Lucknow University has 556 affiliated colleges, 17 institutes, and 47 departments, imparting quality education in the fields of Arts, Engineering & Technology, Unani, Commerce, Education, Law, and Fine Arts to name a few.
LU courses encompass UG, PG, and Doctorate programs offered through 11 faculties. Lucknow University admission is based on entrance exam scores followed by counselling conducted by the university. LU Admissions to B.Tech course is based on JEE Mains scores while MBA admissions are based on CAT scores. The university conducted the UG Entrance Test (UGET) for UG course admissions and the PG Entrance Test (PGET) for PG course admissions.
Lucknow University Placement is conducted through CPC (Counseling and Placement Cell). The placement rate at LU is around 60-80% with the highest package of INR 24 LPA and the average package of INR 3-4 LPA. The Top LU recruiters include BYJU's, Wipro, TCS, HCL, VLCC, etc.

Lucknow University (LU) Admission 2024
Lucknow University admissions 2024-25 out. Interested candidates can fill out the LURN form and apply for BBA, BBA (IB), BBA (MS), BBA (Tourism), B.El.Ed, and D.Pharma.
The University of Lucknow invites applications for admission to various UG and PG courses in the month of April. LU admissions are strictly based on entrance exam scores. The University accepts university and national-level exams. Students seeking course admission to LU must appear in UGET for undergraduate courses and PGET for postgraduate courses. For B.tech admission, Lucknow University accepts JEE Mains scores followed by UPTAC counselling overseen by AKTU.
The basic eligibility for UG courses is 10+2 from a recognized board and for PG courses is Graduation from a recognized university/institute.

Students who wish to pursue higher studies at Lucknow University must fill out the application form available on its official website. We have mentioned the steps to successfully submit the LU application form for admissions 2024 below:

Step 4: Register yourself with the necessary details. You'll receive the login credentials on your registered phone number
Step 5: Log in with the provided credentials and fill out the application form
Step 6: Fill out the necessary personal and academic details. Upload scanned photo and signature
Step 7: Pay the nominal application fees and submit the form
Step 8: Take the printout of the application form the future reference

Faculty: my favorite teacher pk Ruth in my class he has a lot of knowledge And last year he leaves not Surat for joining University of Lucknow
College: College situated in faulty of engineering University of Lucknow second campus which is faraway from main. Campus college teaching quality are not too good. Sports quality of engineering campuses not good for extra curricular activities you have to done your own mind.
I joined this college because that college University affiliated government college with good rank the college nearby IET Lucknow so college is good and everything fine but teacher quality is not too good.but they gave their 100%. If you want to your personal development then you have to admissions in it or top nits

Lucknow University (LU) Scholarships
LU offers scholarships to students with a weak financial background. There are two scholarships under the Students Welfare Fund; namely: the Chhatra Kalyan Scholarship and the Karmyogi Scheme.
Know the Eligibility for Lucknow University Scholarships 2024:
- The annual income of the student's parents must not exceed INR 3LPA.
- Must have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate in the previous exam
- Must not be involved in any unlawful activities.
- Have a minimum of 75% attendance in the previous academic year
- Passed the previous semester with no back paper
