Placement: UIT sends it top20 students (from 2nd and 3rd years) to Asian Institute Of Technology, BANGKOK,THAILAND for 15 days workshop.
And if you are ready to additional Rs2.5 LAKHS, UIT will send you to MISSOURRI UNIVERSITY,USA for a 24 days workshop.
Faculty: Well the best teacher was Mr. Ajeet Pandey(in the CS department, I dont know about teachers of other departments as I was CS student). He really developed those thinking skills in his students, always helped students in clearing doubts.
The other teacher I’ll like to take name of is Mr.Pradeep Tiwari, probably the most intelligent teacher in the college.
College: Well to be true, don’t expect much from placements if you are not good in studies. I have completed my B.tech from UIT and I really worked hard in 4 years of my college, I did got selected in capgemini via campus placements, but my other batch mates did not got JOBS. However, as far as studies is considered, the college is not able to give much to students because of the useless university it is affilliated to, i.e, UPTU. You wont get a worse university than this one, it never declares results on time, killer time tables for semester exams, sometimes it even FAILS mass number of students, I’ll never suggest this college(because of the University UPTU).
however if you are really ready to just spend your 4 years in books, you will get placed from UIT just as i got.
