Trident Academy of Technology commenced its establishment in 2005 in Bhubaneshwar, Orissa. It is affiliated with the Biju Patnaik University of Technology and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) . It is recognized by the DSIR and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It is also an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution.

Admissions in courses offered by Trident Academy of Technology are based on merit and entrance. For B. Tech candidates must possess a valid JEE mains score, for other courses like MBA, MCA and M. Tech candidates shall have an OJEE score.
