Sacred Heart College, Kochi, established in 1944 and accredited by the UGC, is a premier institution of higher learning. It received Five Star accreditation from the National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC) in 2000, and it was granted A level accreditation again in 2013. It offers a variety of diploma and certificate courses in addition to 21 undergraduate and 20 postgraduate programs, 1 integrated postgraduate program, and more. Thevara is home to the college’s three campuses: Media Campus (SH School of Communication), East Campus, and Lakeview Campus (Main Campus). The Sacred Heart College Thevara’s current principal at the moment is Rev. Dr. Jose John. The college was granted autonomy by the university in 2014. Sacred Heart College, Kochi Admissions Procedure; candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with appropriate disciplines recognized by MG University. For admission to the College, eligible applicants may register online at the college website. Candidates for BA Animation and Graphic Design must take an Aptitude Test followed by an Interview. After document verification, seat allocation, and fee payment, the final selection will be made.
Seat Matrix: The Science stream has 184 seats, the Commerce stream has 230 seats, and the Arts stream has 154 seats.
Fees: INR 3000 to INR 12000 are required for UG courses.
Sacred Heart College, Kochi Admissions Procedure; candidates for MA Digital Animation/Graphic Design/Cinema & Television/MCJ must have completed a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent examination with at least 45%. For admission to the College, eligible applicants may register online at the college website. Candidates must also take an Aptitude Test followed by an Interview. Candidates seeking admission using the Lakshadweep quota should submit a separate application directly to the college, however an online option is also available.
