A College worth Joining!! 3/5

MTSM is a girls college only. I had scored 90% marks in my 12th class and took admission here in this college but after joining I realised that the college is not so good in terms of studies. There is no proper education, I feel like it was a wrong decision to join this college. The thing is that if the college facilities are good enough then any bright and studious student can easily score around 80 to 85% marks but here, the students hardly get above 80% marks even after so much of hard work. One good thing about the college is that they self arrange books for the middle class students who can not afford to buy the books on their own. For them, they either purchase the books or get them arranged from the library which is indeed a very good thing. Yes, college also provides scholarships, for SC/ST there are scholarships and for GENERAL students exam is conducted and based on the exam the students get the scholarships. Infra of the college is fine, it is neither so good nor so bad. Classes and the labs are normal, GYM facility is available in college, we have a good library too. Hostel facility is also very good. There is a homely environment in the hostels, they are also very clean and well maintained, even the infra of hostel is also good. Canteen of the college is nice. One need not give entrance exam for admission, you can take admission on the basis of class 12th marks. When it comes to sports, there is no playground to play, and the sports facilities are not good at all. The crowd is mainly comprises of the students who come from nearby villages and the ones who comes from the city but majority is of the city students. One major drawback is for MBA students. Faculty pays more focus on theoretical knowledgeable rather than practical knowledge. There is hardly any visits for MBA students and no practical knowledge as such is provided which is a very essential being an MBA student. So if you want to go for MBA college with good practical skills then I will not recommend this college. Even on overall basis also, I personally do not recommend this college if you want to score high percentage and if you are a hard working student
