KCG College of Technology, Chennai, or KCGCT, offers full-time engineering and architecture courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The PhD programmes at KCGCT Chennai are available in both full-time and part-time formats. KCGCT UG courses are comprised of four-year B.E/B.Tech degree programs in 12 specialisations. Admission to Bachelor’s programmes is done through the Anna University Entrance Test (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission), which is followed by a counseling procedure for selection. Candidates who perform well in the HSC exams will be given preference. Students seeking admission to the Masters Program must first pass the TANCET administered by the state government, followed by central counseling. Admission is granted based on the candidate’s performance in TANCET, followed by counselling and document verification by Anna University. Students having a valid GATE score will be given preference. In the months of August and February, the college accepts applications for the Ph.D. program via the University Website. Selection is based on merit in the qualifying examination, which must include a valid GATE, NET, or equivalent admission score. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to take a written exam, followed by a personal interview.Â
