IMI Kolkata placement cell is a dedicated department of the institute and is responsible for a seamless integration of all necessary knowledge transfer and coordination. For the students, it aids in raising the essential understanding of employment options, helping them position themselves in line with industry expectations, and helping them develop the skills necessary to contribute value to the company. It gives the sector a platform from which recruiters may find talent that fits their needs. IMI Kolkata recruitment process includes -
- To highlight potential job profiles, chances for career advancement, and remuneration information, a corporation is recommended to hold a pre-placement talk (PPT).
- Interested students would sign up for the selection process after the PPT. For interested students, the process (GD/Case Study/Written Test/Personal Interview) might be held by the company on the same day.
- Recruiters are asked to send a soft copy of their PPT so that it can be shared with students in the event that the firm is unable to visit the school for the PPT. The company would receive the CVs of interested students (who register after completing PPT).
- The company can then use videoconferencing to conduct the application procedure (GD/Personal Interview). Starting in September, businesses are invited to the campus to perform their hiring procedures.
