About IIT Gandhinagar
The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, commonly referred to as IIT Ahmedabad, came into existence in the academic year 2008 as one of the eight new IITs. The sole institution from Gujarat to be listed among the top 1,000 institutions in the study is IITGN.Â
IIT Ahmedabad has been granted the recognition an institute of national importance by the Government of India. The institute has been approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).Â
The IIT Ahmedabad Ranking is 33 granted by NIRF for the year 2021. The main aim of establishing this college has been to create a premier institution to impart knowledge at multiple levels of education.Â
IIT Gandhinagar Admission is said to be offered for a variety of courses in the fields of Art, Science, and commerce. The IIT Gandhinagar Btech is the flagship course of the institute. The IIT Gandhinagar Cutoff is the criteria to get Admission into BTech. The JEE Advanced Rank for the admission to the program that will be in the range of 1230–9076. IIT Gandhinagar Admissions are given based on Merit.Â
The infrastructure of the IIT GN is said to be spread over an area of around 399 acres. The IIT Gandhinagar Campus is housing basic facilities that need to be provided to all the students. IIT Gandhinagar Scholarships for Sports and Games
The students of IIT Gandhinagar will be awarded in case they excel in sports and games. There are total of six scholarships that will be awarded every year. Students who are in their second, third and fourth year for the UG program will need to apply and every recipient will be awarded INR 2,000 per month for almost ten months. So the awardee will also be a recipient of the scholarship of equal or higher amount. Then he/she will become eligible for a single time receipt of almost INR 5000.
IIT Gandhinagar Tuition Waiver for UG/Master Students
- Here the students belonging to the categories of ST/PWD/SC will get a chance to waiver their tuition fee off.
- The students belonging to the categories and their parents earning less than 2.5 Lakh will get their full fees remitted.
IIT Gandhinagar Financial Aid Program (TML-FAP)
- This was created in 2016
- Open for the UG students of the college
- Created for providing assistance to students from economically weaker sections
