About IIM Visakhapatnam:
The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam, a newly built IIMV that was established in 2015 under the Human Resource Development Ministry and Government of India, is now being mentored by IIM, Bangalore. IIM Visakhapatnam, the largest city in Andhra Pradesh, is identical to the Howard Business School in terms of teaching style and facility and uses many of the same case studies. The Institute is located in the "City of Destiny" of Visakhapatnam on two campuses with cutting-edge amenities. Its temporary/transit campus is situated in the posh Andhra University grounds. The permanent campus, a world-class GRIHA-5 Star facility on around 241 acres of land, is situated at Gambheeram Village, Anandapuram Mandal, on the National Highway (NH) 16 to Kolkata, about 25 km from the temporary campus.
IIM Visakhapatnam Highlights:
There are 12 visiting faculty members and 23 full-time faculty at IIM Visakhapatnam. All of the faculty members have PhDs from prestigious universities in India and overseas, including IIMs and IITs. At the graduate and doctoral levels, IIM Visakhapatnam offers four management courses. Under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY), Government of India, the institute also provides a specific MBA curriculum in Digital Governance & Management in blended learning format, the first of its kind in the nation.
