A normal day at IIM Bodh Gaya begins between 8 and 8:30 a.m. with the start of lectures. These lectures, With intervals of short lunch breaks, which are an essential element of the daily schedule. Following morning lessons, students participate in a range of activities such as presentations, quizzes, club and committee meetings, and numerous extracurricular hobbies.

Location of IIM Bodh Gaya and Surrounding Areas

IIM Bodh Gaya is located within the Prabandh Vihar area of Bodh Gaya. The Bodh Gaya International Airport is approximately 10 kilometers away, while the Gaya Railway Station is situated 17 kilometers from the campus. Nearby attractions that students can explore include the Great Buddha Statue, Mahabodhi Temple, and the Thai Monastery.

The library at IIM Bodh Gaya is called the Learning Resource Center or LRC for short. It’s a great place for students to find information and study. The LRC has a lot of digital books, journals, magazines, and newspapers for students to use – more than 1,50,000 books, 15,000 journals, 7,000 magazines, and 3,000 newspapers. The library is open from 9:30 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening, from Monday to Saturday. But it’s closed on Sundays and holidays.

IIM Bodh Gaya Campus

IIM Bodh Gaya presently functions from its temporary campus while the construction of its permanent campus, expected to conclude by March 2023, is underway. The temporary campus offers a beautiful environment with clean air, housing facilities, an academic block, sports facilities, and dining services, among other amenities.

IIM Bodh Gaya Hostel

IIM Bodh Gaya, a school guided by IIM Calcutta, is in the process of building a permanent campus, which will include dormitories for students. But for now, the student dorms have been temporarily relocated and are available for students to stay in. The cost to stay in these dorms is INR 39,000 per year.

These dorms at IIM Bodh Gaya are well-equipped with essential facilities for students’ comfort. They have a dining area, washing machines for laundry, Wi-Fi, sports facilities, and common rooms to make students feel at home during their time here.
