- Student selection for admission to UG programs is mostly based on merit, and applicants must have completed their 10+2 coursework from accredited boards with a minimum cumulative score of 50%.
- Graduation grades are used to determine admission to MSW, MSc, and MA programs.
- The Madurai Kamaraj University in Madurai should issue the Eligibility Certificate to students from different Boards, States, or Countries

Adi-Dravidar Welfare Scholarship: SC/ST and converted Christian SC students (undergraduate and graduate) who have an annual income of less than 2.5 lakhs are eligible for this scholarship.
Backward Classes Welfare Scholarship This award is available to UG and PG students from the backward classes who earn less than 2 lakhs2 per year.
MBC Welfare Scholarship: This scholarship is available to UG and PG MBC/DNC-DNT students with annual incomes under 2 lakhs2.
Post Matric Scholarship: Christian and Muslim post-secondary students who received at least 50% in their previous final exams and are not already receiving any scholarships are eligible for this scholarship.
Scholarship for the differently abled: This scholarship is for students with disabilities enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, and other courses.
