Reasons for being a student of GHS-IMR
Placement: Our institute provides 1st year students mandatory summer internship for 45 days which provides us industrial exposure and knowledge about working in a corporate environment. Almost 90% of the students of our college got placements. Our seniors got placed with a highest package of Rs. 12lacs p.a. and average of Rs.5-6 lacs p. a.
Faculty: The first reason for taking admission here is excellent faculty. Teachers are excellent and well qualified (Ph.d). The way they teach, help us to understand the course in an easy way. They are always updated with the current scenario in the world and corporate. All the teachers are having the experience of 20-25 years. All the professors focuses more on the practical aspect of the topic rather than the theoretical.
College: Dr. Gaur Hari Singhania institute of management and research is one of the best management institute in kanpur and ranks 45th best b-school as per the ranking by business India.
I am a first year student of this institute and i am very happy with the decision i made to study here.
Pros-
I) Excellent faculty
II) Infrastructure
III) Safe campus for girls
IV) International industrial trip
V) Events
Cons-
I) Campus area is not very big.
The admission cell of this institute is very good...you don’t need to panic much for getting admission there...the admission cell will help you solve all your problems in one go. You just have to appear for CAT/MAT Enterance... And then need to show your scorecard and will get a scholarship also, if you get 70% or more.
So i had no problem while taking admission here, in this institute.
Exam: For getting admission in GHS IMR
I) One will have to be appear in CAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA and 50% in graduation.
II) College internal written exam.
III) Personal interview.
Then you’ll be called for further admission procedure in which admission cell of the institute will help you out. It provides education loan as well.

It was a wonderful experience at GHS-IMR with an excellent exposure provided across the various platforms. The faculty are very supportive and encourage students to push boundaries to rise above expectations. GHS-IMR targets for an overall development of every student, be it education, cultural awareness or practical exposure of business world like industrial exposure and international tour. I will feel gratified to be the part of GHS-IMR family.
Placement: Offered with Internship through college, but i opted my internship on my personal levels.
Talking about placements, number of companies visited college like Future Group,TCI,JKT,JK cement,RSPL,HDFC,Jaro Education and many more,
Lowest package counted approx 2.5-3 lacs ,, whereas Highest package counted to more than 10 lacs
Faculty: I really appreciate the way the professors provide quality education by not only teaching bookish but also realistic & practical knowledge providing at every aspect.
GHS-IMR faculties are well qualified & dedicated towards their work and focuses on each and every student .
Faculty keeps on making you updated with latest education & knowledge
College: First of all, GHS-IMR helps in overall personal growth & improves self esteem, pathway to advancements and enhances one’s overall personality.
Admission process includes GDPI with which the capabilities of one is looked and then making them grow under their supervision
Exam: Firstly you must have attempted entrance exam whether it be CAT/MAT ,
With the score in the entrance exam you are shortlisted ,
And then selected for GDPI which happens to be the part of admission process,
After GDPI one gets to know whether he/she is selected or not.

Exciting, opportunistic & competitive
Faculty: The faculty is supportive and highly qualified
They are adept in the art of teaching and tackling the students and have a methodical approach , leading to a holistic development
We are made to do projects to improve our soft skills
Placement: Placement and internship provided are quite decent
College: Excellent facility making learning a better experience by including case studies, interactive exercises with experienced faculty.
We remain engaged in interesting events and Activities even through virtual mode .
The infrastructure is good , have all the laboratories and classrooms services . Library is well maintained all the necessary books regarding the course are available.
The campus is go green and vibrant.
Exam: For admission 12th marksheet and state/national entrance exams marks are taken into consideration.
Then need to appear for personal interview , once cleared can go for seat lock
