Latest Updates at DTU Fees: Following are the latest updates and dates regarding DTU Fees.
- Gate 2024 result has been released. GATE COAP round 1 Seat Allotment is supposed to be released on 13th May 2024 at 10 AM.
- For admission into BE/BTech courses the JEE Mains Session 2 Exam will be held between 4th April 2024 - 9th April 2024. The JEE Main Session 2 Exam for BArch is to be conducted on 12th April 2024. Moreover, the JEE Main 2024 Result for Session 2 is supposed to be announced on 25th April 2024.
- The counseling registration for Delhi Technological University admission through UCEED 2024 into B.Des course is ongoing. Moreover, the UCEED Round 1 Seat allotment will be declared on 10th April 2024.
- The application window for CUET UG is open for Delhi Technological University admission into the UG courses. The last date for applying has been moved to 31st March, 2024. The CUET UG exam will be conducted between 15th May, 2024 and 31st May, 2024.
- CUET PG 2024 Exam has been completed. The provisional answer sheet is to be released on 4th April 2024. The Answer Key Objection window will be active from 4th April 2024 to 6th April 2024.
- Admissions into MBA courses for the academic year are open. The last date for applying is 19th April, 2024, tentatively.
- CUET UG exams are the basis for DTU BTech admissions. Dates for the 2024 CUET UG exams have been announced. The exam is supposed to be held between May 15 and May 31, 2024.
Additionally, DTU uses JEE Mains scores to determine admission to its BTech program. The JEE Mains session 1 and session 2 exam dates for 2024 have already been announced by NTA. The first JEE Main 2024 session will take place on January 24 and February 1 of that year. The tests for session 2 will take place on April 1 and April 15, 2024.

DTU BTech Lateral Entry Course
In addition to the B.Tech, DTU Delhi courses also provide BTech Lateral Entry. It is a three-year regular diploma from any state board of technical education/diploma accepted by AICTE, Delhi, in any engineering branch. Is B.Tech open to lateral entry to the Delhi Technological University. Universities and engineering colleges offer a lateral entry programme that allows students who have completed a 3-year engineering diploma, a B.Sc. degree, or an equivalent exam with at least 50% of the marks and Mathematics as a required subject in Class XII, to be admitted directly to the second year.
After earning an engineering diploma or a B.Sc. in Physics or Mathematics, a candidate can enter the second year of engineering (third semester) directly through lateral entry into the B.Tech program. Those who are accepted are eligible for direct admissions and do not need to complete the first year (or first two semesters) of the B.Tech programme. Placement: The best placements are provided in the college. Packages offered are not much high, but the number of placements is high. The average package offered is 7 LPA, and the highest package offered is 24 LPA. A huge number of internships are provided. About 90% of the student’s intern during college. A very good college providing all kinds of learning and cultural activities.
Placement: The placements are pretty good in DTU. All reputed companies both technical and non-technical, national and multinationals come to the college and offer good placement and internship opportunities to the 3rd and 4th-year students. The package offered highly depends upon the job profile. Non-technical profiles provide the packages as high as 30 lpa whereas, in the mechanical engineering, the packages offered by domestic recruiters are around 8 lpa is the average. Again this depends upon the academic and non-academic skills of the students. The CGPA of 7.5 is considered the safe boundary.

Best college for Overall Development
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are available comprising of many M tech and Ph.D. students as well as professional teachers too. They all are having a good knowledge of their respective subjects. Some teach only through the notes. The course curriculum is well prepared so that if you have studied, once you need just to revise it before exam day. Faculty members are quite helpful and supportive. They can solve any problem of students related to the course.

Faculty: Faculty depends from department to department. Mechanical department is strict but considered best across the country. Electrical faculty is not rude. Else teachers of every department are friendly.

A very good college providing all kinds of learning and cultural activities.
Faculty: DTU has the most educated faculty from all around the country. They are always available to provide all kinds of help a student deserves to get. They are also very much open to the research ideas proposed by the students and also actively take part in being faculty advisors for various tech societies and teams. The course curriculum is at par with both the national as well as international standards for engineering.
