The Central University of Kerala (CUK) seeks to extend the frontiers of knowledge by facilitating the learners to be creative and innovative. The CUK seeks to motivate, encourage, and support students to think analytically and develop their social and cultural competence. It intends the students to analyze and respond to real-life situations based on their university training.

The Central Placement Cell (CPC) headed by its Director works in coordination with the Department Placement Cells (DPC) headed by the Department Placement Officers (DPOs) and Student Placement Coordinators (SPOs). Central University of Kerala (CUK) Placement Procedure

The placement procedure of the Central University of Kerala is as follows:

  • The Central Placement Cell (CPC) of CUK invites relevant companies for placement.
  • The recruiters then conduct a pre-placement talk where they tell about their company and the jobs they are offering.
  • The students can then submit their resumes to the company/companies they are interested in.
  • After the students have submitted their resumes the companies then shortlist resumes that match their requirements and eligibility.
  • After this shortlisted candidates are now required to give aptitude tests, group discussions, and personal interviews. This is done to assess the candidate's knowledge, skills, and communication skills.
  • Candidates who perform well in their interviews and other activities will then receive a job offer from the company or multiple companies. This includes details like Job Description, Company details, terms and conditions, salary, etc.
  • If the job offer is in favor of the student, then they will accept the offer and the terms and conditions. Once the offer letter is accepted the students cannot accept any other offer letters from other companies.
  • After this, the student will now receive an Offer Letter from the company. An offer letter is a written agreement that confirms the terms of employment. The offer letter details all the conditions (salary, compensation, and other benefits) as well as important regulatory information related to your employment before it formally becomes effective.
